Warning signs of a pulmonary embolism include:

Sudden, unexplained shortness of breath

Chest pain or discomfort that worsens when you take a big deep breath or cough

Dizziness or lightheadedness or fainting

Fast

Sweating

Coughing up blood

Feelings of anxiety or nervousness
