Causes Of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS)

Carpal tunnel syndrome caused by compression of the median nerve. The median nerve passes from your forearm for a time in your wrist (carpal tunnel) to your hand. It makes sense in the palm of your thumb and fingers, except your little finger. It also provides nerve signals to move the muscles around the base of your thumb (motor).

In general, all the crowds, irritates or compresses the median nerve in the carpal tunnel area can lead to carpal tunnel syndrome. For example, a broken wrist may reduce the carpal tunnel and nerve irritation, such as swelling and inflammation caused by rheumatoid arthritis.

In many cases, no single cause can be identified. It may be that a combination of risk factors contributing to the condition of development.
