Symptoms Of Avoidant Personality Disorder

People with avoidant personality disorder is a concern for their mistakes and build relationships with others only if they believe not to be rejected. Loss and rejection are so painful that these people want to be alone rather than risk trying to connect with others.

Hypersensitivity to rejection / critical

Elective social isolation

Extreme shyness or anxiety in social situations, even if the person feels a strong desire for a close relationship [10]

Avoids physical contact because it was associated with an unpleasant or painful stimulus

Avoids interpersonal relationships

Feelings of inadequacy

Severe low self-esteem

Self-loathing

Although critical about their problems with other

In some extreme cases - agoraphobia
